Yoga began in India approximately 4000-5000 years ago as an ancient practice to achieve divine enlightenment. Yoga is a comprehensive system for well being on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, encompassing techniques and guidance for enriched living.

Eight limbs of yoga:

Yama - social discipline

Niyama - self discipline

Asana - physical postures

Pranayama - controlling the breath

Pratyahara - controlling the senses

Dharana - concentration

Dhyana - meditation

Samadhi - illumination

Slow movement with long yet gentle holds of poses that allow the body to enter deep rest and relaxation. It is a practice of stillness, patience and letting go where we give the body permission to simply be and the mind an opportunity to quieten from outside distraction

Yoga Nidra

Wednesday's 7:00 - 7:30 pm

Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a form of guided meditation. Done laying down in savasana, all you need to do is relax and listen to my voice as I guide you on a journey of your own self

 

Embrace Your Breath - Pranayama

Thursday's 7:15- 8:15 am

 

A dedicated practice to controlling our breath. You will be gently guided through various pranayama practices and gentle asana (postures) to support you in generating, transforming, and balancing your prana (energy) with your breath

Align & Flow
Thursday's 8:30 - 9:30 am

Focusing on alignment of the mind, body and soul to create balance and harmony with clear channels for your energy to flow

Midday Pick Me Up Flow

Thursday's 12:30- 1:15 pm

A mid-day practice to get the body moving and blood flowing. An all levels class designed to bring mindful movement and flow into your day. Using breath and body awareness, we will re-energise the mind and body so you can flow on through your day

Osho Kundalini Meditation

Last Saturday of each month 10:00 - 11:00 am

A four-stage meditation practice to promote the flow of blocked energy, transforming it into bliss.

Stage 1: Shaking

Stage 2: Free dance

Stage 3: Stand/sit and observe your own self (sensations/feelings)

Stage 4: Lying in stillness

* Pranayama is the extension or control of breath. Simply, we will explore specific breathing techniques that support the body in many ways such as:

- reduce stress and calm the nervous system

- stimulate the parasympathetic system - increase oxygen within the body

- cleanse the respiratory system

- balance both hemispheres of the brain

- clear the mind / create higher states of awareness

- abdominal muscle and digestive system toning

Private 1:1 Classes

Are you looking to incorporate or explore the practice of yoga, but looking for personalised guidance?

I offer one on one yoga sessions to work with you, where you are currently at in your practice and where you'd like to progress to.

Classes will be developed based on your intention and personal needs.

Pricing starts from $40 for a 30 minute session or $70 for a 60 minute session at my space.
